Review of The Money Pit (1986) by Stuart K — 12 Mar 2014
(53%).
A 1980's big money themed comedy that could be grouped together with Richard Pryor's "Brewster's millions" and "Trading places". Has a few simple laughs here and there, but is often let down by silliness (mafia crime boss children, male middle-aged crossdressers and biker construction workers) plus very unlikely, over-the-top plot elements that make the movie more cartoonish than it actually needs to be.
