Review of The Mod Squad (1999) by Jeff B — 10 Sep 2009
Point 1: By setting it in the nineties, you lose the point of calling them The _Mod_ Squad. Mod is, by then, a long-obsolete term.
Point 2: This movie mocks itself by pointing out how cliche-ridden the script is, yet it's not a parody movie like, say, National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon. It's just bad.
At least Giovanni Ribisi is a somewhat interesting character in the movie. The rest of this is pretty forgettable.
