Zero expectations while watching, and I was pleasantly surprised. Don't expect a life-changing film, or anything like that, after all The Mitchells vs. The Machines only seeks to make you have a pleasant and fun time that never gets heavy or silly despite the predictability of its humor and narrative.
If you're looking for something unpretentious, here's a good option.
