This movie was absolutely hilarious, I think they captured awkward family moments amazingly without getting too dark. I think the family dynamic in this movie is very realistic. I did think that the villian was kind of one sided but I enjoyed her character so that wasn't a big complaint, I think the voice acting was really good as well, the pug jokes never really got annoying for me either.
Overall I loved this movie and would totally watch it again. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. I don't think there will be a better animated movie this year.
