Review of The Mist (2007) by Ydnar4 — 06 Sep 2015
The Mist is painfully real considering it is a very unreal story. Frank Darabont converts another Stephen King story into an exceptional film, much like he did with the Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.
This film felt like Dawn of the Dead in a supermarket at first but it begins to break its own new ground. The characters were very good for a horror movie and the acting was great. The best part about The Mist is that it is not afraid to cross the line.
I was very disturbed on several occasions in this film and a great horror film should make you uncomfortable. I sure was. I was horrified.
