Outstanding! I'd put this movie above Darabont's 'The Green Mile', but not above 'The Shawshank Redemption' ofcourse.
This movie will push you to the limits. In Darabont's other fantastic films we've seen thathat he is a fantastic writer. But in this movie we get to see some exceptional directorial flair. Possibly the most immpressive of Darabont's films.
The end could be seen as either a masterpiece or an extreme downer.
I found it to be one of the greatest endings I've ever seen.
This went far beyond any expectations I had. Though the first 30 minutes or so seemed a bit off.
