Review of The Mist (2007) by Aaron O — 18 May 2013

The Mist is one of the better horror films in recent times, it has good performances, interesting characters that you care about and a simple but good premise. There are some great scenes in the film where I was just on the edge of my seat terrified.

I have no big problems with the film other then the special effects were very on and off in terms of quality and the pacing was off too. What really stands out in The Mist is the chilling final act, the film is worth watching nearly just for that.

I also don't see why the ending is being called awful and the worst ending ever, I though it was a fantastic, though grim ending.
