Review of The Mist (2007) by Austin R — 12 Oct 2013
The Mist is a grueling, tension-packed horror film that struggles with a few horror cliches and despicable and pathetic characters especially the one crazy woman who goes down as one of most despicable characters in horror film history.
On top of that, she displayed a poor, and downright false representation of Christianity. Aside from these issues, The Mist has strong, riveting, and engrossing character interactions thanks to a terrific script which proved to be thought-provoking.
The ending though, is the most impactful and darkest moment of the whole film.
