A chilling tale that uses otherworldly creatures to frame the majority of humanity as useless and savage bastards who haven't evolved beyond the superstitious coping mechanisms of our hunter ancestors and therefore deserves to die.
Also, the first rule of crowd control should be killing off the bombastic fundamentalists.
