Another fine duet between Darabont & Stephen King. Their first collaboration was The Shawshank Redemption. While definitely not the same type of movie, Darabont proves he can take us along on a much more chilling look at how society might break down in the midst of a planet wide catastrophe.
The ending is still very haunting and gut-wrenching. Get ready to squirm, squint, shriek and gasp....
