Review of The Missouri Breaks (1976) by Matt R — 17 Jun 2007
Brando and Nicholson together at last. Thats the good part. The rest is so-so. Brando is so insane in this role you may start to believe that hes an idiot sevant posing as a great actor or that the director let him do whatever the hell he wanted to.
Yet when he starts talking to a horse and slaps it, well, how can you not stand up and cheer. Nicholson is good as always. But there are times when you will wonder out loud "what just the hell is going on!".
