Review of The Missouri Breaks (1976) by Chris M — 30 Dec 2008
Brando and Nicholson are both great, but as a whole it's slow and unsure of what kind of film it wants to be. I wish they had fleshed out the Nicholson-Brando conflict more, it started and ended near the end and ended too quickly.
Brando's Lee Clayton is especially entertaining, I'm not sure if Brando even knew there were cameras shooting in a few of the scenes.
