One of the movies I would describe as those of terrible beauty. Based on historical events, it tells everything about what our (Western) culture has done to the rest of the world; but also a story of redemption and utter dedication for causes beyond personal, shallow goals.
Great performance by DeNiro and Irons, beautiful cinematography completed with mesmerizing Morricone's soundtrack, everything fits in its place...
