Review of The Mission (1986) by Harry F — 07 Jul 2009
Though historically inaccurate (especially seen when the Cardinal mentions the ruler of Portugal in the 1750s), still a great film. The acting was superb, especially by Jeremy Irons. The cinematography was stunning and great directing by Roland Jaffe.
Good story on how the Jesuits worked in South America.
