Review of The Missing Lynx (2008) by Jere M — 26 Apr 2011
This is a nice little family picture about a group of animals from a shelter helping each other to escape from an evil hunter, pretty basic fare. This animation was well done, although I thought that the characters had a lack of detail, they did not seem furry but plastic and some of the animation sequences seem to be off somewhat.
The landscapes, on the other hand, were extremely well done and very inspiring work. The voice acting was well cast and the script solid if predictable. This was a nice break from what Hollywood calls a family movie as there were no adult jokes or sexual innuendos within this story, which was a very refreshing throwback to classic animation.
If you enjoy animated family, emphasis on family movie, movies then this is one you will like though probably not remember for long.
