Review of The Misfits (1961) by Megan . — 31 Jan 2010
After reading numerous reviews on this film stating that this is the best last performance given by Gable and Monroe before their death, I would have disagreed, but I have yet to watch all of their films. And after watching The Misfits, I doubt I will watch another Marilyn Monroe film due to her annoying way she spoke, like she just finished exercising and is out of breath.
If you can get past her irritating behavior on screen and how everyone in the story seems to fall in love with her within seconds of their encounter and the mismatched chemistry between Gable's character and Monroe's character, then you may enjoy this film.
