Review of The Misfits (1961) by Liam D — 05 Dec 2011
A hard-hitting romantic drama that debunks that myth that cowboys don't get the blues. The 3 leads performances are admirable, but Monroe doesn't shine as she once did in earlier performances. The script is heavily emotional whilst being inconsistent.
The Misfits is a must see just for the fact that it was Monroe and Clark Gables last roles but as a whole, the film is over praised.
