Well, don't listen to the synopsis of this movie. This is my all-time favorite. It's witty, intellectual and not self-absorbed. More than being a Barbra Streisand beauty-fest it is about finding beauty in oneself in spite of social stereotypes of what makes one beautiful.
Jeff Bridges is wonderful, the soundtrack is amazing, and if I do say so myself, Barbra Streisand was perfect for this role.
