Review of The Million Dollar Hotel (2000) by Tim M — 02 Mar 2008
Certain scenes in this movie come close to being art, but for the most part, the soundtrack is the best part of the film. At times, the main character's thoughts were interesting and poetic, but he was way overacted.
All the characters were strange, and so badly contrived that it was impossible to even begin to connect with one of them. some were so alienating that simply the look of them was enough to turn you away.
The plot was so-so....and I kept wondering why we were watching this. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. This is not Wim Wenders' best work .
