Review of The Milagro Beanfield War (1988) by Sharon W — 30 May 2009
A lovely movie about a small town fighting to survive in the face of "progress". It has beautiful cinematography of the New Mexico landscape, a talent of Redford's that he later perfected in "A River Runs Through It".
The characters are charming and the story is a sweet take on a David vs Goliath situation. There are some problems with the ending, but overall a great little movie.
