Who doesn't love a good Cinderella sports story? This is a feel-good movie based on a true story about the ultimate underdogs of women's basketball. I suppose I can understand why it hasn't "wowed" some of the previous reviewers, but I think it delivers everything that one would expect from a G-Rated film about women's basketball at a struggling Catholic women's college in the 70s.
I was happy to see a movie about women's sports, and it's a nice story. It's G-Rated, people. 'Nuff said.
