The worst hockey movie ever made. Some people loved this when it came out. As a hockey fan I thought this was a slap in the face to the sport of hockey. The film story was not that great. The adult actors are solid.
Some of the kids acting is in question.This film spawned a actual NHL team by the same name. Since then they have dropped the mighty in the title. But they have won a Stanley Cup. Regardless of that this film is still a joke.
The mighty V formation made me groan. Your just asking to get checked into the boards with that move. Skip this movie and watch great hockey films like Slap Shot, Youngblood or the Rocket.
