Hot-shot Minnesota attorney Gordon (Emilio Estevez) gets sentenced to 500 hours of community service after a night of driving drunk. For his punishment, he is forced to coach an ice hockey team of misfit youths with little talent.
The difficulty in this is Gordon played hockey himself as a kid, and blew a championship game. Without giving too much away, Gordon teaches the kids hockey, and they teach him to not take life too seriously.
