Great telling of an unlikely friendship.
This moving and ultimately uplifting tale explores the unusual friendship that develops between two twelve year old outcasts. The Mighty is also an inspiring fable about the power of the imagination and friendship to heal scars, both emotional and physical. Based on the book by Rodman Philbrick, The Mighty is also free of the excessively saccharine and overtly manipulative narrative structure of the recent Simon Birch.
