Beautifully shot, it's a rough watch for a number of reasons. The story is not only slow to develop, the story it's almost relentlessly downbeat and/or stressful. Because of the limited dialogue and frequent flashbacks, it's hard to develop any kind of feeling for any of the characters.
Feels like the movie lasts twice as long as it's running time.
