Review of The Midnight Meat Train (2008) by Ingmar P — 31 Aug 2009
As this film was based on a story by Clive Barker. I knew I was going to be in for a dark and twisted treat. I?m pleased to report that I was not disappointed. This has everything a Gore hound could want.
The kills are brutal, unflinching, in-your-face and enormously gory. But don?t be fooled, it is also very suspenseful and intelligent. Vinny Jones is amazing as Mahogany. The large meat tenderizer he uses to knock his victims out with is unique and more disturbing than if they had just used a standard butcher?s knife.
Bradley Cooper is top notch and Leslie Bibb continues her rise as a fine actress. PLEASE, STEP AWAY FROM THE MEAT!!
