Review of The Midnight Meat Train (2008) by Jennifer C — 31 Dec 2009
A young photographer needs to start producing more 'gritty' photos. Unknowingly he starts to photgraph a well-dressed fella, who turns out to be a serial killer. The photographer starts to follw the guy to find out what he's actaully upto.
This isn't a bad film. The storyline is ok, kept me interested for the hour and a half it was on.
There was a bit of gore in it, but you could easily see that the majority was 'painted in' afterwards. Still I did flinch a few times when he decides to take out his victims with a meat tenderiser thingy, nice!
A watchable film, something that doesn't need to be concentrated on, but is easily forgettable too.
Not sure why it's called Midnight Meat Train though when the trains are at 2am, hmm.
