Review of The Midnight Meat Train (2008) by Kevin H — 03 Jun 2010
A surprisingly chillingly effective horror film. It's not gonna win any awards, but the violence is accompanied by a fantastically creepy performance from Vinnie Jones, who manages to terrify without uttering a single line.
The others are merely there as bait for the violence, but the performances are adequate. Kitamura, widely known in his country of origin, does a good job with his first American film.
