Review of The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) (2017) by Wael — 13 Oct 2017
A nicely done drama about familial matters and siblings reuniting after a long time, the movie is lead by a beautiful ensemble cast, that sets out to do its job brilliantly (I especially liked Dustin Hoffman and Elizabeth Marvel's performances), and the direction is simplistic and, kind-of sort-of, old-school (like soap-operas).
Even though it has nothing majorly special about it or about its plot, this film is nevertheless a heartwarming family drama.
