The Good.
Adam Sandler's Fantastic Performance- All I can say is...... FINALLY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FINALLY!!!!!!! Its so good to finally watch a Great Adam Sandler movie and him actually caring and act in and he doesn't do his generic shitty shit he actually acts which I haven't seen from since Punch Love Drunk and Reign Over Me and he's also Funny which he hasn't been in a long time. Also Angry Adam Sandler is the fucking Best.
Dustin Hoffman is also fantastic - Lately besides the Kung Fu Panda movies he's been phoning it in, but he gives his best performance since Finding Neverland back in 2003. Angry Dustin Hoffman like Angry Adam Sandler is the fucking Best.
Ben Stiller's Performance - who also gives his best performance since 2014's While Were Young from the same Director of this.
Everyone's Chemistry works so well especially with Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman and Ben Stiller.
Grace Van Patten is really good I would like to see more of her in the future.
Noah Baumbach Direction and Screenplay showing how a Mixed not perfectly family story with everyone getting their own Development. The Film is structured in 5 Sorta Acts.
Emma Thompson is always fantastic.
Elizabeth Marvel is good.
Adam Driver quick small role.
There's a great cameo.
Robbie Ryan's cinematography (Who also did Slow West).
Randy Newman's Score (who youy should obviously know from the Pixar Films like Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Cars, A Bug's Life.
The Bad (Sorta).
The Fast editing through certain scenes or maybe that was done on purpose, but this wasn't a huge negative just a nit pick.
Overall: This Netflix's Best Film to Date and Adam Sandler's Best Film Overall and in a long time, this was a fantastic engaging film with 3 Powerful Performances from Sandler, Hoffman and Stiller. Again FINALLY!!!!!!! Hopefully this leads to Adam Sandler to doing more Drama Films or Dramedys.
Overall Grade: A+.
