Review of The Mexican (2001) by Monica M — 13 Sep 2008

I put off watching this movie because I didn't believe that Pitt and Roberts would have good chemistry together. I wasn't wrong there but to my happy surprise they didn't share very much screen time together.

But, unhappily, I've missed out all this time on a really funny movie! I'm not a big fan of Julia Roberts but she and James Gandolfini played off each other really well. The Brad Pitt/Mexican story line was hilarious! I laughed through the whole thing.

I loved that dog!! :) The cinematography was beautiful... the director did a great job in turning a dry, dusting, desolate Mexico into a place of colorful beauty. The musical score was great too! I fit so perfectly with what was going on in the film.
