Review of The Mexican (2001) by Tokufumi N — 03 Mar 2009
Fair story, but when culture is brought into it, it loses its hilarity and becomes more of an attempt at telling Mexican ancestry tales. Brad Pitt brings his standard "I'm funny because I'm oblivious and can't articulate my thoughts" character to life once again.
The introduction of half-hearted and half-witted crime makes this film funny, and offers the only real safe haven from the lacking intrigue in the story and cinematics.
