Review of The Mexican (2001) by Jonathan G — 23 May 2009
The Mexican was funny at times. There was some action in there, too. Brad Pitt played a character mix between his role in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and the less than intelligent fitness guy in Burn After Reading.
Julia Roberts was cute and the two were dealing with some serious relationship issues. James Gandolfini stole the show though and gave life to the other characters. Some cool shots and interesting lighting, but the plot never really seemed to move forward fast enough.
Wait for it to come on TV, unless you REALLY like Pitt or Roberts movies.
