Review of The Mexican (2001) by J K — 16 Jul 2010
For a Gore Verbinski movie this was surprisingly dull. Even with Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts in the lead and James Gandolfini playing a bad guy. Seriously, this was honestly a romantic comedy disguised as a Robert Rodriguez film.
When it finally dawns on you that this is not what it appears, you get angry...then really, really depressed. Avoid.
