Review of The Meteor Man (1993) by Joey M — 11 Nov 2008
So when you're sitting with a group of friends, and the one with the remote stops on WGN at midnight and screams out, "FUCK YES! THE METEOR MAN!!! WE'RE WATCHING THIS," you can't help but be pumped up. The best part was: I had no idea if he was being serious or not. Still don't know.
That narrative right there netted this film one star, but everything else was quite sloshed together. Sets looked unnaturally fabricated, acting was pathetic, and although this had every well-known black actor from 1993, there was little action to pull out of this train wreck.
