Review of The Messengers (2007) by Wes S — 28 Sep 2011
It's not the Pang Brothers best work, but it is a good horror flick worth checking out.
A family moves from the city to a country farmhouse looking for a fresh start, with their moody teen (Kristen Stewart) and their mute son the Solomon's (Dylan McDermott & Penelope Ann Miller) struggle to settle in. Directed by the Pang Brothers, this one has plenty of creepy ghosts haunting the family. The plot is not bad but it's "old hat", which I really don't mind so much if the film is done well.
