A great movie masterpiece. Well acted, directed and shot. The battle scenes bring graphic realisim to midevil warfare and provide a gruesome backdrop to a story about God. The movie is designed to make you think about people doing things "in God's name".
If you feel frustrated or angered by people using God to justify their personal vendettas or wars, then I believe you will most likely enjoy this film. One of the most under appreciated films ever made.
