How you feel about this movie all revolves around how you feel about the performance of Milla Jovovich. Me, I got a headache from watching her and imagining how much effort and energy she was expending to get this across.
I thought she did alright, maybe a little over the top at some places. This movie is a brutal and violent retelling of the story of one of history's tragic and tortured figures...worth a watch if you can handle some of the disturbing aspects of it (or at least know when they're coming and look away).
