Review of The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999) by Hardy H — 11 Sep 2010
I am not familiar with the story, but the movie came acrosse as quite anti-religion (which I had no issue with at all) and Joan of Arc as a boarderline lunatic. For a person who knows next to nothing about this part of the history/legend, I cannot say how the story could/should have gone and achieved.
But I feel this movie is rather pointless and not all that entertaining, either.
