Review of The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999) by Scott R — 25 Jul 2012

There were moments of promise where you could almost feel the communion with the divine, but then it is turned into poor acting and weak special effects. I also enjoyed how Besson saw how a visionary should be, madness because of belief.

Jovovich showed she had the means, I think Besson in the end let everyone down, including a great cast. I still enjoyed it for the historical aspect of it.
