Foster gives a great leading performance in this drama that deals with heavy situations for a pair of Army officers who are on casualty notification service. Although the film runs a little slow at times, the characters of Foster, Harrelson, Morton & Buscemi keep the storyline moderately rolling and excel in portraying the misfortunes and sadness of war on the home front.
