Review of The Message (1976) by Anuar K — 27 Aug 2009
A masterpiece of religious cinema..This film is about how Islam began from the beginning until its establishment...I think that this movie is one of the greatest movies of all the time...and I think that this movie is the best way of introducing Islam to those who stereotypically think of it as a religion of violence...I recommend this movie to every one of all ages; especially people that would like to know or get a better understanding of haw the religion of Islam started...
But unfortunately this movie wasnt remembered as much as "The Ten Commandments"..... U knw why ? Because It's about Islam..But If a movie is about or includes Christianity (all time) or Judaism it respects so much, takes countless awards, praises... I want to hope this will change... but when?!Thousands of thanks Mustafa Akad... Rest in Peace.
Please all note that the prophet Face is never shown in the movie due to the extreme respect....
