Review of The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009) by Allan C — 24 Feb 2011
Now more than ever we need the Jedi.".
Great political satire that's as much funny as it is depressing. Whether you believe in remote viewing or not, which I don't, has no bearing on whether you enjoy this film. It's more a satire how our country's values have been hijacked and now more than ever we need the Jedi (the nickname for the new world army government psychics). Clooney and McGregor are excellent, but for me it was Jeff Bridges who steals the show in a great supporting role. He's kind of like The Dude on acid. Must see viewing!
