Incredible (mainly true), totally out-there story about the ridiculous and slightly desperate efforts of the armed forces (reminiscent at times of Dr. Strangelove) as they resort to the creation of a crack unit of psychic warriors, inspired by the loved-up vibes of the psychedelic 60s movement; beautiful desert landscapes and a great cast (with Bridges abiding as the Dude-esque founder of the â~Earth Armyâ(TM) and a brilliant and hilarious Clooney as the legendary psychic ninja/Jedi), but a disappointing ending.
