Nice surprise. 3D effects were pretty good and some were funny and shocking. CGI Giant Shark looked fantastic, real and scary. I like Jon Turteltaub and he directed great movies (While You Were Sleeping, Cool Runnings, Disney's The Kid) and he made a nice movie.
But still greatest shark movie is JAWS! and maybe still Deep Blue Sea was better than The Meg. Actors were OK, but little Chinese girl stole the movie.
