Review of The Meg (2018) by Britney P — 09 Aug 2018
What do you people want from a shark movie? There is suspense, there is comedy, there is a puppy. Given Steven Alton's source material director John Turteltaub managed to spin gold with some excellent editorial choices.
The audience was in tears and clapped as the protagonist saves the day. The actors realized they were in a campy movie and sold it for all it was worth. If you are expecting Shakespearean drama you will be disappointed, if you are expecting a b monster movie you will be delighted.
Run, do not walk, to a theatre near you and don't forget your life vest.
