Review of The Meg (2018) by Shawn A — 08 Aug 2018
If you've seen Jaws and Jurassic Park then there is no need to see this. This movie follows the tired old plot line of previous nature thrillers. Scientist women to young to be more than undergrads, yet they are somehow very far up the career latter.
Fat white guys who you know will die relatively soon, and the hero who saves everyone, including a little puppy. Oh, and don't forget the kid. Usually the plot lines put two kids in, an older teen girl and young tween boy.
This one just had an adorable little girl who for some inexplicable reason has unfettered access to the most sensitive areas of the ship. I had more eye rolls during this show than anything else.
