I should have given the mechanic 2 and a half stars but because of Jason Statham, I gave it 3. There is not much to say about this one, it's a typical Statham movie, no real originality, it's pure adrenaline and pure action.
Jason Statham, you have now been typecast as the cool british guy who mostly does generic action movies. I like Jason Statham, the dude is cool and he plays it well but I think the material should be better.
I would like to see him in smarter thrillers but not this. But if you are Statham, you might like this. It's definitely a rental.
