Review of The Mechanic (2011) by Keith Y — 19 May 2013
Jason Statham Plays that guy he always plays in these movies. Not a bad thing really just kind of one note. The movie was fun but I like the original better. The idea of grooming your replacement is one I like and the fact that he is unreliable is ok too but the emotional steaks of the original are not present here.
Not a bad movie just average and that is sad because the source material was really good but in need of an update.
