Thoroughly enjoyable; great acting by some young actors and thankfully no pre-teen love story in sight (expected from the ads where they showed the 'only female' character's appearance). Drama, suspense, conflict, sci-fi, action - it's got a good mix.
Can't wait for the sequels - now I'm off to read the books.
